Happy Birthday

Whitlingham has proven to be a very popular location to celebrate that special occasion. This year we have even more on offer so why not celebrate with our range of party packages within a superb outdoor environment with qualified and experienced instructors who ensure you have a safe, fun adventure. We have a variety of packages to suit all occasions no matter what the time of year.

Choosing your Active Birthday Party
Choose one of our activities as the focus of your party with the option of cabin hire and food provided. You provide the people and we provide the 3 hour party including invitations, 2 hours activity and an experience they will never forget.

Pirate (sailing)
Step aboard our very special pirate boats – the ‘Green Pearl’ and the ‘White Sharks’, sail and paddle to follow the treasure map and find the lost treasure.

Ship Wreck (raft building)
We will take you to ‘ship wreck shore’ where you will have basic equipment to build a raft and paddle across the water, back to the centre. Can you work together to rescue the whole group?

Mountaineer (climbing)
Slip on a harness and helmet then challenge yourself on our outdoor climbing tower. Stand on the summit then lower yourself back over the edge – it’s scary, but great fun!

Robin Hood (archery)
Take aim on our archery range and after some initial coaching, challenge each other through a variety of target games. Can you hit gold before the others?

Amazon (canoe)
After a short introduction to the canoe and basic skills we will take a round trip and explore the broad or adjacent river. Follow in the paddle strokes of our ancestors in the original way to travel.

Wet & Wild (windsurfing)
It’s wet, wild and what a way to party as you blast across the water powered by forces of nature. We will teach you the basics then let you go freesailing under the watchful eye of our qualified instructors. Getting wet is guaranteed!

Rock & Roll (kayaking)
Sit in your kayak, grab your paddle and then push off into the clear clean waters. We will get you paddling and then a session full of games and challenges. Prepare to get wet and come back grinning from ear to ear.

Trailblazer (biking) 12yrs+
Hit the dirt and trails with our new bike fleet. We’ll assess and test your skills on our challenge course and then take you on a guided ride around the country park. Expect to come back muddy!

Treasure Hunter (orienteering)
Can you follow the clues, read the special maps and find the hidden treasure? You will need to work together to navigate the whole team around the country park in search of that hidden bounty.

Problem Solver (team challenges)
Have you got the mental and physical ability to take on our team challenge course? You’ll need to work together to cross the imaginary snake pit, climb through the spider’s web and defuse the bomb. Pick your team and take on the challenge.

Active Party times and costs
Times: 1000 – 1300 or (1400 – 1700 March-Oct only) Costs: see table below * Additional option – add £20 for 1 hour cabin use to eat your own party food. The two activity option includes 1 hour cabin use within the price
